Play and games for Papillons
Papillons are energetic and lively little dogs, with swift and effortless movements.
Papillons are not the best choice if you need a quiet, cuddly lapdog. Most Papillons are dynamic, curious puppies, particularly when they’re youthful. They don’t prefer to sit still for long. They can run effortlessly for long distances and need to go outside every day.
They love to recover squeaky balls and can play with something for quite a long time. They are clever and inventive. Although clever, obedience may not be instantaneous. Some Papillons, cab be quite manipulative and will try and get out of making them do things they don’t want to do. They also sulk, but you need to be gentle and persistent.
Papillons do not do well with children’s rough playing. There must be supervision when playing with small or active children, since they can easily be hurt during rough play.
Play will take care of a lot of their exercise needs but it is not sufficient for all exercise. They need daily walks or runs. They do well with obedience training, because of their intelligence and energy level.
Because Papillon Dog such intelligent little creatures, the also need some mental stimulation.
